Join our dynamic Telemedicine team here at American Endovascular and  play a critical role in enhancing virtual healthcare delivery. We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant with experience in telemedicine to support our virtual care operations. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced, environment. Responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, coordinating with medical centers for procedures, obtaining and organizing medical records, and providing technical assistance to ensure patients can seamlessly connect to video consultations. You will have the opportunity to work in a very friendly and supportive environment with dedicated professionals who value the people who work with them and are committed to excellent patient care. Phlebotomy certification is required.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule virtual appointments using telehealth platforms.

  • Prepare patients for remote visits by collecting medical histories and verifying information.

  • Assist providers during virtual consultations by documenting notes in real-time.

  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate data entry.

  • Educate patients on telehealth procedures and troubleshoot basic tech issues.

  • Conduct follow-up calls, medication reconciliation, and care plan reinforcement.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.

  • Support physicians and nurses in daily operations.

  • Serve as a scribe to document patient reports.

  • Welcome and guide patients through their visits.

  • Record vital signs and collect lab samples.

  • Gather and update medical and medication history.

  • Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is cleaned.

  • Maintain a sterile and organized pre- and post-op environment.

  • Assist patients with scheduling follow-up appointments.

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, staff, and management.

  • Uphold professionalism in all patient and healthcare interactions.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).

  • Registered Medical Assistant issued by the state of NY.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting; 1+ year in telemedicine preferred.

  • Proficient with EHR systems and telehealth platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me).

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

  • Bilingual skills a plus.
