Description

American Endovascular is seeking a dynamic medical receptionist to serve as the face of the company as the initial contact with our patients both in person and over the phone, the PSC (Patient Service Coordinator) plays an important role in the overall success of our offices.  The position involves, receiving referrals, entering patients into our EMR system (ECW), calling to schedule patients for office visits and procedures, confirming appts, arranging transportation when needed. Checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays answering phones as well as other tasks as needed.  Ideal candidate will have ability to multitask, represent the company in a professional and welcoming manner and be able to work as part of a team. 

  • Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

  • Communicating with patients about their medical history, concerns, and needs.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filling out forms and explaining medical terms.

  • Coordinating patient-care services with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Handling billing and insurance claims, resolving disputes or issues.

  • Ensuring smooth office operations, including inventory management and maintaining office equipment.

  • Monitoring patient satisfaction and feedback to improve service quality.

  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality.

 

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience in health care setting preferred.
  • Possess a calm, reassuring, competent demeanor and the ability to be sensitive to patient needs and attitude.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Ability to manage high volume of phone calls 
  • Be knowledgeable about company, services and products available.
  • We are seeking a bilingual Patient Service Coordinator, fluent in English and Spanish to support our diverse client base.
