Job Description:
We are looking for a professional who is passionate about finance and ready to make a difference in one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies in Brazil. As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:
- Generate significant value for the business and promote sustainable growth through strong financial skills, ensuring alignment with long-term goals
- Drive data-driven decision-making processes with consistent analysis and top-notch capital allocation strategies
- Ensure accuracy and reliability in all financial reporting, identifying opportunities for growth through strong controls and accounting processes
- Create and maintain governance and visibility to key metrics and indicators, allowing the company to adjust direction towards strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Support on short and long-term financial planning processes. Some important deliverables are the semi-annual budget, monthly forecasts, financial performance materials, and special projects.
- Business Partner: Act as an FP&A Business Partner for a specific internal area of the company, being in constant communication with its senior management and C-level.
- Financial analysis and reporting: Support on monthly closing (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and strategic KPIs) helping to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Playing an excited interest in technology and startups
- Enthusiastic about fostering the growth of the startup ecosystem in Latin America and self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and a can-do attitude, capable of accomplishing tasks independently
- A doer who is experienced in creating projects from the ground up and executing on their own
- Proactively provide information, analysis, and technical support and develop financial tools to consolidate data from different sources and systems;
- Previous experience with FP&A, preferably in SaaS or tech companies;
- Understanding of financial analysis and reporting (P&L / Cash Flow) and cost center and accounts structure;
- Experience with activities related to Budget, Closing, and Results variance analysis;
- Ability to ask questions and provide change when feels things are not going in the right direction;
- Ability to work with short deadlines and lots of data;
- A strong verbal, written, and visual communicator + in English
- Good interpersonal skills, especially collaboration, and the ability to give and receive constant feedback;
- Excel knowledge is mandatory;
