El Dorado is building the Payments SuperApp for Latin America. It facilitates domestic and cross-border transactions, connecting to +70 local payment channels, all powered by a network of currency exchange agents. El Dorado’s marketplace solution is addressing the incompatibility and fragmentation of the region’s financial ecosystem for individuals and SMBs. El Dorado’s business model is transactional, charging 0.6% on every payment processed on the P2P network.
Summary
This role is a professional who uses data to either give credence or challenge our established paradigms regarding El Dorado’s operations. Their key ability would be complex system analysis, focused in extracting valuable and actionable insights, combining skills in statistics, computer science, and business acumen. They collect, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data to help the organization make informed decisions and achieve its goals.

At least 3 year of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in business data analysis.

Key Functions and Tasks
Data Collection & Processing
- Gather data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, web scraping, sensors).
- Clean, transform, and structure data for analysis.
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and correlations in data.
- Create visualizations to better understand trends and insights.
Data Visualization
- Masterfully create dashboards, presentations, and visualizations in general to compellingly present their findings.
Modeling
- Build predictive models and classification algorithms.
- Fine-tune and evaluate model performance.
Optimization & Model Improvement
- Select the best modeling techniques for different use cases.
- Monitor and update models with real-time data.
Process Automation
- Develop automated solutions to streamline data analysis and decision-making.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Collaborate with business, marketing, finance, and product teams to present and solve strategic challenges.
- Present findings through reports and interactive dashboards.
