PURPOSE OF JOB: 


The Vice President of Global Marketing is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of Route 92 Medical’s global corporate strategy, objectives, and plans. This leader will create and implement marketing strategies, as well as collaborate on the tactical execution of the annual commercial operating plan.  The Vice President of Global Marketing will also determine new product development programs in partnership with the Research & Development and Business Development leadership. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, drive, and articulate corporate strategic planning and new product development direction in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Finance, Human Resources, Research & Development, and Operations departments.
  • Develop a Commercial go-to-market strategy and tactics for the Route 92 Medical product portfolio, including customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, and global pricing.
  • Establish and refine the rolling 4-quarter Commercial Operating Plan (COP) and quarterly Plan of Action (POA) in collaboration with Sales and Commercial Excellence leadership.
  • Direct the development and implementation of promotional support materials and campaigns, training materials (in collaboration with Sales Training), advertising/public relations (in partnership with Corporate Communications), and medical meeting exhibitions.
  • Direct physician preference testing of new products to obtain customer feedback for the product development team and for product registration purposes (i.e., FDA approval) by setting measurable objectives and monitoring results.
  • Lead regular analysis of market environment and competitive landscape through market research, market data, and competitor activities/strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate as needed with Executive Leadership to assess and execute corporate partnerships (to include international development of product approvals), distribution, co-marketing partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Partner with the Clinical department to ensure alignment of strategic goals with major company-sponsored multi-center clinical trial programs and smaller studies initiated by customers or by the company, with the primary objective of obtaining scientific exposure that is favorable and to enlarge the specific indications for use of the company’s products.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: 


We’re seeking an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred) and at least 10 years of experience. 


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience in marketing or marketing leadership, with significant experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
