As the CO-CTO and Technical Co-Founder at Otterz, you will hold a leadership role in the development and enhancement of our AI capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize machine learning, NLP, and AI models for our AI-powered banker.
• Leveraging your deep expertise in AI, particularly reinforcement learning, to advance our technology and scale our startup.
• Collaborating with our machine learning and NLP engineers to refine models for bookkeeping, business insights, and management recommendations.
• Applying Python programming skills to design robust and efficient algorithms, ensuring the seamless performance of the AI bookkeeper.
• Staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and banking technology through ongoing research.
• Enhancing the AI bookkeeper's understanding of natural language and refining its ability to generate human-like responses.
• Proactively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the AI banker operates smoothly and effectively.
• Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to iterate on models and improve the overall user experience.
• Contributing innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions to shape the future of AI-powered banking.

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing machine learning and NLP models, especially within a banking or financial context.
• Exceptional proficiency in Python programming and relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, spaCy).
• In-depth knowledge of deep learning architectures, recurrent neural networks, and transformer models.
• Familiarity with financial concepts, bookkeeping practices, and business management is a significant advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex algorithms.
• A demonstrated ability to apply AI techniques to practical applications.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
