Opportunity
Our team is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will takes ownership of new business opportunities for Uitrial SaaS SDK and Uitrial Playtesting products. The ideal candidate must be willing to prospect for new revenue opportunities as well as review and analyze the current leads and accounts for revenue-generating opportunities and value-generating opportunities. The ideal candidate must be, first and foremost, capable of sourcing new business for Uitrial, and put together value-driven offers for current and incoming accounts, securing buy-in from both internal and external stakeholders. An advanced in-depth expertise in mobile game and interactive entertainment industry business development, and sales, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and prepare sales strategies and proposals.
- Manage and conduct analysis of market trends and competition.
- Must actively seek new business, a hunter who is not afraid of cold calls/emails or even travelling to a useful conference.
- Secure revenue by selling product placement and brand integrations within resources used by Game Development companies.
- Be responsible for setting up meetings with brands, agencies, developers, publishers, game service providers. Support the negotiation of highly complex business development deals.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to understand terms of proposed deals, then independently model financial outcomes based on a variety of assumptions. Assess proposed deals to determine their financial impact.
- Close deals! Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets that generate revenue.
Other Responsibilities:
- Help develop solutions and activation ideas that aid Uitrial public relations efforts, with the aim of improving business.
- Manage and conduct financial analysis, due diligence and legal review of potential new business opportunities for Uitrial: such as strategic partnerships, licensing of outside products / talent and joint ventures.
- Analyze information and develop recommendations for new initiatives, alliances and partnerships. Negotiate standard deals with partners such as third-party developers.
- Execute campaign management strategies and plans; Track KPIs and other related goals.
- Collaborate with internal departments.
- Communicate and report to management and leadership team through weekly update meetings. Be responsible for preparing and leading presentations of results to Executive Management and other key decision makers.
- You may be asked to mentor less experienced members of our team. It’s great if you are willing to teach!
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of business development and sales experience, with an emphasis on software solutions and SaaS.
- Strong grasp of the gaming industry landscape, mainly mobile game development and publishing.
- An understanding of the processes, requirements, and efforts that are required during game development.
Will be a plus:
- The ability to think creatively, identify sales opportunities and execute against those opportunities.
- Strong relationships with game development companies and publishers.
- Passionate about gaming and improving the gameplay experiences of players world-wide!
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Structured, methodical and good at planning.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, assertive self-starter.
Education:
- Bachelors, or similar four-year degree
Travel Requirements:
- This job includes international air travel — The applicant must be willing to travel to conferences and other events in Europe and surrounding regions several times each quarter. 5%-10% of the total work time.
- Job entails long working hours during weekends and events.
Working Environment:
This position is fully remote, but our working environment is in Slack. Uitrial can provide necessary hardware like a dedicated work mobile phone, laptop etc if required.
