Role Overview:We are looking for a detailed-orientated and self-motivated intern to support the Group DPO in an evolving regulatory environment, in all aspects of running the data protection office. This role offers the opportunity to build on existing compliance framework, alignment with key business drivers and develop an industry network in the field of personal data protection.Key responsibility:
- To assist with compliance program
- Identify, report and remediate critical data protection compliance risk areas
- Management reporting on compliance program, risk areas and progress on compliance initiatives
- Manage and automate compliance operations, such as regulatory submissions, DSRs and complaints and updating privacy notices
- Maintain and improve on Group Policies, SOPs and guides, align as necessary with AIDC's data compliance program
- Management of privacy impact assessment process
- Identify risks, evaluate business and operational impact, recommend controls to mitigate these risks
- Manage overall data protection audits, due diligence checks and incident management
- Negotiate and draft contractual clauses relating to data privacy
- Develop contracting templates and checklists
- Alignment with key stakeholders
- Build professional network with key stakeholders across relevant industry groups to stay updated on emerging data protection compliance trends
- Drive cross-team collaboration matters to output project deliverables in a timely manner
Job requirements:
- Have legal training and awareness of PDPC regulations and guidelines
- Strong project execution skills
- CIPM/CIPP will be an added advantage
