As a Senior Technical Leader, you will be responsible for
Leading development teams that are responsible for delivering accurate and timely data in innovative ways for our Engineering teams. The successful candidate will have influence over the vision, features, and design of the critical data used to drive the business. You will own all phases of the development lifecycle from gathering business requirements, design and modeling, development, deployment, and support.

- Lead the technology charter end-to-end for a core business unit – from vision to delivery, scale to innovation.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and business leaders to shape roadmaps, define outcomes, and drive execution.
- Build and grow a high-performance engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and innovation.
- Be deeply involved in upstream problem-solving – driving clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and influencing product direction.
- Maintain a hands-on leadership style – participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and occasionally dive into code.
- Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies (like GenAI) and guide the team in adopting relevant innovations.
- High-impact charter: You’ll own the technology vision and execution for a critical Swiggy vertical.

What qualities are we looking for?
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 3–4 years in engineering leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, deliver high-impact products, and drive business outcomes
- Strong systems thinking – experience designing and scaling distributed systems in high-growth environments
- Ability to influence product and business strategy through technical insight and data-driven decision-making
- Passion for building teams, mentoring talent, and creating an environment of continuous learning
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach – comfortable toggling between strategy and execution
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to adopt and lead through emerging tech shifts, including GenAI and ML (experience a plus)
