Job Description

About Abridge

Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients.

Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.

We are a growing team of practicing MDs, AI scientists, PhDs, creatives, technologists, and engineers working together to empower people and make care make more sense. We have offices located in the SoHo neighborhood of New York, the Mission District in San Francisco, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.

The Role

We are looking for a Recruiting Manager to help scale Abridge’s recruiting efforts in the Commercial and G&A space. In this role you will lead and develop a high-performing recruiting team to meet hiring goals across the organization. You will ensure the team consistently attracts and hires top-tier talent while maintaining outstanding candidate and hiring manager experiences. You will partner with leaders at the VP and C-level across the Commercial and G&A organizations to make sure you understand hiring challenges.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is detail-oriented, and brings a strong operational mindset.

What You’ll Do

  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to the current team of recruiters and sourcers. Conduct regular one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance reviews. Recruit, hire, and onboard recruiting team members while creating clear career development paths.

  • Strategic Talent Planning: Partner with senior leadership and HRBPs to develop talent acquisition strategies supporting business growth objectives. Help with quarterly headcount planning discussions and decide how to best allocate resources based on these discussions.

  • Performance Management & Analytics Set team goals and individual performance metrics. Generate regular reporting and analytics to track team performance and identify improvement opportunities. Present recruiting metrics and insights to senior leadership.

  • Operational Excellence Optimize recruiting processes, workflows, and technology stack to maximize efficiency and candidate quality. Implement best practices for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates.

  • Stakeholder Partnership Build strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand current and future talent needs. Serve as trusted advisor on market conditions, compensation benchmarking, and hiring strategies.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5-7 years of recruiting experience with 2+ years in management role

  • Proven track record of building and leading successful recruiting teams

  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition best practices

  • Experience with recruiting technology, ATS systems, and analytics tools

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities

This is a hybrid role in our San Francisco office (Tuesday - Thursday in office).
