Job Description
GTC Towers is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual to fill a full-time Senior Financial Accountant position. This individual will work directly with the CFO and will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting and financial analysis to deliver financial statements in accordance with required schedules. Ideal candidates will possess experience in digital infrastructure accounting; strong GL experience; and a proven track record to accomplish goals. Must be willing and excited to learn and drive process creation.
Location: Fully remote, US based – East Coast geography
Reports to: CFO
Travel: On occasion
The Company: GTC Towers is a fast-growing wireless infrastructure company that owns and manages telecommunications towers and has exclusive rights for the marketing of over 500 miles of short line railroad rights of way.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus benefits (Health, Dental, & 401K)
Description: This is a full-time, exempt position and includes, but is not limited to, participation in the following areas:
1. Lease Accounting: Maintain records (including AR & collections) for leasing of tower assets and working with customers and/or overseeing any potential new tower builds.
2. General Accounting: GL and develop procedures & policies in accordance with GAAS, and assist in daily transactions as needed
3. M&A activity: Assist in driving the various components of M&A activity, which may include treasury accounting or business/financial analysis activities
4. Financial Statement Preparation & Financial Analysis
5. Budgeting
A minimum of four + years’ experience required in accounting.
Excellent computer skills, experience with the Microsoft suite of products are required.
