Get to Know the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll collaborate across teams, mentor colleagues, and help fix user pain points while driving project deliverables.

You will report to the Engineering Manager II. You will be onsite at Grab One-north office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will:

• Design and implement backend components using Go to enhance service reliability and scalability.
• Explore new design solutions alongside engineering for scalability and performance.
• Lead code and design reviews for quality assurance.
• Analyse, tune, and improve software for capacity and performance.
• Prototype new features in collaboration with product and experience teams.
• Integrate AI components into broader system architectures in partnership with data scientists and engineers.
• Work with infrastructure teams to resolve system issues and improve backend performance.
• Participate in operational processes, including on-call rotations to maintain excellence.
• Work with product and design teams to define and prototype features, ensuring site reliability.
