About The Position

Weka is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Python developer You'll be part of the automation and infrastructure group that contains highly skilled Python programmers who develop and maintain our internal frameworks, libraries, services, and tools.



As a Senior Python developer, you will be:

  • A part of our team of highly skilled Python programmers who develop and maintain our internal services and tools.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based internal tools and services used in the company's development processes.
  • Work closely with Weka's Engineering teams to define R&D workflows.
  • Be a part of the growing DevEx team, which stands at a critical point in all R&D processes


Required Qualifications:

  • First and foremost, excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Python.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong ability to understand and troubleshoot complex code.
  • Proven experience working with Linux system environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with database management and optimization
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
