      • Understand utility industry trends (e.g., smart metering, meter to cash, customer service requirements)) to qualify high-potential leads.

Outreach & Engagement
      • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and occasionally trade event follow-up.
      • Personalize messaging to highlight how SpryPoint solutions address utility-specific pains related to the ‘expect more’ concept, as it showcases legacy system inefficiencies, operational efficiency gains, client/customer visibility and on-demand/self-servicing for clients, regulatory compliance,.
      • Book qualification and discovery meetings with prospects
      • Coordinate intro meetings between the client and Account Executives.

Qualification & Discovery
      • Utilize a BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) framework to qualify prospects.
      • Identify challenges in utility operations, customer service, and billing where SpryPoint can offer measurable ROI.
      • Log detailed notes and discovery information into Salesforce as appropriate.

Pipeline Management & Reporting
      • Maintain and organize daily activities in Salesforce or HubSpot as appropriate.
      • Track and report on KPIs including call volume, email open rates, meetings booked, and lead-to-opportunity conversion rates.
      • Collaborate with marketing and sales to refine lead nurturing campaigns and feedback on messaging effectiveness.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
      • Work closely with marketing and sales for content and campaign alignment.
      • Partner with Account Executives to hand off sales qualified leads (SQL) and share contextual insights.
      • Provide customer feedback to product and client success teams to refine value propositions and feature insights.

Industry & Product Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date on utility industry regulations (state and federal as appropriate by utility and informed by Business Development, Product, and Sales), and digital transformation trends.
    • Develop a competitive landscape understanding and differentiation story for each competitor and product segment (e.g. SpryCIS, SpryEngage, SpryMobile, SpryWallet, etc.) supporting a compelling reason for a follow-up conversation with SpryPoint Account Executives.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of SpryPoint solutions — value statements, client success stories and referencable insights and metrics, feature sets by product.
    • Remain informed of our alliance and partner relationships and how they interact with our direct and channel sales efforts.
