Job Description

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Site Merchandising & Optimization Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of homepage content and global site messaging on KendraScott.com. This role is key to shaping the top-funnel experience—merging product, storytelling, and promotional strategy to drive conversion and reinforce our brand values. You'll own homepage strategy and the sitewide promo bar, ensuring cohesive, compelling messaging around product launches, offers, and key seasonal moments. In addition to these responsibilities, you’ll support mid-funnel content execution and contribute to broader site merchandising efforts, combining creativity, performance insights, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Site Merchandising & Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Homepage Strategy & Revenue Driving Content Planning

  • Own homepage content strategy, planning, QA, and execution across seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional moments.

  • Balance commercial priorities with brand storytelling and philanthropic initiatives.

  • Monitor performance of homepage modules and drive optimizations to improve engagement and conversion.

  • Align homepage execution with business goals, marketing calendars, and creative timelines.

Global Site Messaging & Promo Bar Ownership

  • Manage promo bar content across KendraScott.com, including shipping cutoffs, promotional messaging, countdown timers, and evergreen brand and value messaging.

  • Ensure messaging is timely, accurate, and aligned across channels to support urgency, clarity, and customer confidence.

  • Collaborate with internal & cross functional teams to update and QA promo bar content based on promotional timing and operational needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with go-to-market stakeholders (brand, CRM, social, merchandising) to align homepage and promo bar messaging with broader campaigns.

  • Partner with personalization, UX, and product teams to develop and support A/B testing and personalization strategies that continuously optimize the top-funnel site experience using customer behavior and data-driven insights.

  • Collaborate with merchandising, design, web ops, and marketing ops teams to bring key stories and seasonal priorities to life on the homepage—aligning on design intent, promotional strategy, and revenue goals to ensure content drives visibility, product value, and sales performance.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track homepage and promo bar performance metrics and share actionable insights.

  • Analyze performance of campaigns and promotions to influence future planning.

  • Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging trends in site merchandising and promotional content.

Optimization & Team Support

  • Support QA and content setup for enhanced story pages (ESPs), product launches, and campaign updates as needed.

  • Assist with merchandising refinement efforts across PLPs, ESPs, and PDPs—helping identify opportunities for improved product discovery and engagement.

  • Partner with the broader Site Merch team on mid-funnel testing initiatives, content entry, and merchandising enhancements that support overall site performance.

Professional Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or a related role.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager, Page Designer, or other CMS and e-commerce platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for digital storytelling with a strong editorial perspective that supports both brand expression and commercial goals.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights that inform revenue-driving decisions.

  • Creative problem-solver with a proven ability to challenge existing strategies, analyze customer journeys, and implement innovative solutions that enhance the experience and drive sales performance.

Personal Characteristics:

Customer-Centric

  • Deep empathy for the customer journey and how site content—especially homepage and promotional messaging—can enhance engagement and drive conversion.

  • Advocates for experiences that are intuitive, inspiring, and aligned with customer expectations at every step.

Commercially Minded

  • Understands the critical role of the homepage and promo messaging in driving business goals while staying true to brand storytelling.

  • Comfortable balancing brand voice with promotional urgency to maximize impact across key revenue-driving moments.

Organized & Detail-Oriented

  • Strong ability to manage calendars, cross-functional inputs, and execution timelines with precision.

  • Sees the details others miss and ensures content accuracy across all digital touchpoints.

Collaborative Communicator

  • Brings positive energy and strong communication skills to every project and partnership.

  • Builds relationships across functions and communicates clearly, candidly, and with purpose.
