Position Overview: 


The Inventory Control Analyst is a vital part of the supply-chain process. Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Analyst’s main priority is to ensure that the physical inventory remains accurate at all times. The Inventory Control Analyst will create and identify new opportunities for process improvements through developing metrics, analyzing data, and executing cycle counts while constantly collaborating with cross-departmental teams. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a holistic view of inventory across all channels by leveraging inventory systems (ERP, WMS, POS, and e-commerce), and serve as the point person for the Warehouse Management System to streamline accuracy and workflows within the Distribution Center. 

  • Plan and optimize warehouse storage locations for inbound products to ensure efficient putaway, replenishment, and picking processes. 

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, analyze data trends, and support the development of procedures and metrics that drive accuracy and operational efficiency. 

  • Support all fulfillment channels—including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale—by troubleshooting inventory issues and partnering cross-functionally to resolve them.  

  • Continuously evaluate existing procedures with a focus on reducing errors, improving accuracy, and enhancing overall productivity within the Distribution Center. 

  • Track and report on inventory changes, variances, and value adjustments—including conducting root cause analysis and providing clear documentation 

  • Represent inventory management across the organization, supporting cross-functional initiatives including finance, accounting, and supply chain. 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of cycle counts and other reconciliation activities to align physical and perpetual inventory 

  • Partner with Retail Field Operations team to support retail channel inventory accuracy, as well as Wholesale Revenue plans 

  • Be able to work on feet for extended periods, lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds, and safely navigating elevated platforms or ladders as needed.

 

  • Utilize heavy machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to manage inventory movement and storage, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

 


Our Ideal Candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

  • 3+ years’ experience in inventory control, data analysis, or high-growth warehouse operations 

  • Prior experience with WMS and ERP preferred  

  • Preferred certifications: APICS, Six Sigma, Heavy equipment  

  • A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery 

  • Advanced Excel skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with Operations, Supply Chain, or Planning teams 

  • A growth mindset: eagerness to learn, adapt, and embrace new continuous improvement
