Position: Analytics Engineer II - 1099 Contract to Hire
The Analytics Engineer will be part of the Monogram Health Analytics organization consisting of actuarial, underwriting, reporting, medical economics, and data science team members. This team is focused on building a high-performance organization that is responsible for all financial, operational, and quality reporting for Monogram Health and its clients, as well as driving analytics discussions in support of our large growth initiatives.
This position will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive insights and strategies aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and reducing costs within a value-based framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement analytical solutions that support the company's mission of delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to polychronic members. This position reports to the Director, Analytics Engineering.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving data analysis and modeling using advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from complex healthcare data sets, including insurance files, EHR, CRM, and other relevant sources.
- Develop reporting architecture and metrics to monitor healthcare outcomes, quality measures, and financial performance related to value-based contracts – specifically in support of provider analytics and network performance.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing analytical processes and models, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all analytical activities.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience writing complex SQL queries, including proficiency in programmability SQL (e.g., stored procedures, functions).
- Minimum of three years in health care data; Familiarity with value-based health care data preferred.
- Proficiency with workflow orchestration and management tools (e.g., Azure Databricks workflows)
- Proven expertise in data analysis and visualization tools like SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Experience with the Azure platform and Databricks is a plus.
