Regional Medical Director 

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking an experienced interventional psychiatrist to serve as the Regional Medical Director of our outpatient and interventional psychiatric services in Southern California. The Regional Medical Director will provide leadership in the delivery of high-quality mental health care focused on interventional treatments such as TMS, Esketamine and IV Ketamine, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care, and assist in the growth of Mindful Health Solutions in the region through business development activities and community engagement. • Under the direction of the Chief Medical officer, lead and manage outpatient and interventional psychiatric services, ensuring clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
• Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatments including medication management, TMS and Esketamine for individuals with mental health disorders.
• Supervise and mentor a team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses and other mental health professionals.
• Take a key role in developing and implementing new community partnerships, patient outreach strategies and other growth initiatives in the Southern California region
• Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols, policies, and treatment guidelines.
• Foster a patient-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care environment.
• Oversee quality assurance initiatives, including patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Participate in recruitment, retention, and professional development of staff.
• Stay current with developments in psychiatry, mental health treatment, and healthcare management, and promote continuous professional development within the team.

Compensation:

Compensation is modeled as a guaranteed base salary plus incentives. 

 

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.

• Board certification in Psychiatry.

• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.

• 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry, including outpatient psychiatric services.

• Experienced Interventional psychiatrist strongly preferred.

• Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role in a healthcare setting is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in psychiatry and mental health treatment. 

• Exceptional leadership, communication, mentoring and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
