Want to join the leader in AI-powered data security? Cohesity is looking for an experienced finance professional to join the team as a Finance Manager, Customer Experience FP&A. We’re looking for someone with an analytical mind and strong knowledge of finance, who is a self-starter, a great communicator and passionate about driving change in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This role will provide financial expertise, analytical support, and financial leadership to help influence key business decisions for our marketing team.  This position reports to the Finance Director, Marketing & Customer Experience. 

 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE: 

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting and budgeting processes for customer success. 

  • Support the month/quarter end close activities and reporting processes, accruals, close/forecast packages, and variance analysis with clear explanations for financial results. 

  • Build strong relationships with business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives. 

  • Develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, cost initiatives, and process improvements. 

  • Measure & report on financial performance and customer support investment efficiency through a variety of financial analytics. 

  • Deliver revenue and margin planning, reporting and forecasting for customer service and professional service lines of business. 

  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities. 

  • Continually drive improvements across close, forecast, and planning processes, including establishing best practices. 

 

 

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING: 

  • 3 to 5 years experience working in customer support FP&A. 

  • A curiosity to learn and take initiative to proactively solve problems independently. 

  • Flexible and agile with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 

  • Ability to understand business issues and be able to clearly and concisely put together recommendations and implementation plans and present to financial and non-financial leaders. 

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills 

  • Advanced skills in Excel with the ability to build complex financial models and perform detailed analysis. 

  • Solid overall business acumen including accounting/financial experience.  

  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, SFDC and Tableau. 

  • Attention to detail.  

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE: 

  •   Bachelor’s degree required 

  •   MBA or equivalent degree a plus 

  •   6 minimum years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
