As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to be a critical player in the growing the international accounting organization at Redis. You have knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an accurate and efficient close process. You pay great attention to detail, deliver timely results, and work effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment.
What you’ll do:
- Record journal entries and own timely and quality completion of month end close tasks for Bulgaria and support other international entities
- Perform reconciliations for all related general ledger accounts and investigate variances
- Perform monthly and quarterly flux analysis
- Support internal and external audits, prepare statutory financials for Bulgaria and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Support payroll for Bulgaria including posting monthly payroll journals
- Prepare local VAT filings on a monthly basis for Bulgaria and EMEA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives
What will you need to have?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA required
- Big 4 or similar experience is desirable
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian Statutory reporting.
- USGAAP and SOX 404 are desirable
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
