Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and oversee the movement of goods, materials, and products within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, managing inventory, and maintaining communication between suppliers, warehouses, and customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate Shipments: Schedule and oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses or customers, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Manage POC/DOA RMA and pickup Returns and related communications.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, process orders, and manage inventory flow to ensure products are available when needed. Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and handling of goods. Set up Shipping/Receiving processes related to the warehouse, RMA, and RTV workflows.
  • Shipping/Receiving: Unpackaging/Packaging of materials. Set up Shipping/Receiving processes related to the warehouse, RMA, and RTV workflows.
  • Vendor and Supplier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers. Ensure effective communication and resolution of any issues or delays.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and maintain all necessary shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms) and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any shipping delays, discrepancies, or inventory issues, collaborating with relevant departments to find solutions.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track-n-trace the progress of shipments, provide updates to internal teams and customers, and prepare reports on logistics performance. Code freight bills, generate shipment documents for domestic and international shipments
  • Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs, improve transportation efficiency, and optimize logistics operations.
  • Customer Service: Handle any logistics-related customer inquiries and work to resolve issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and inventory management
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to safely lift 45-60 lbs
  • Attention to Detail: Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ensure accuracy in all logistics operations.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with global supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems or TMS (Transportation Management Systems)
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CPIM) is a plus.
