Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. The Product Manager - Core Services holds a crucial position in developing the strategy for Unifonic core services while staying up-to-date on market trends and technologies

Help us shape the future of communication by:

• Prioritizing and managing the development of new features for core services like charging, billing, API Gateway, and fraud detection. Ensuring product roadmaps align with company goals and security standards

• Collaborating and working closely with engineering, data, security, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery. Gather feedback, ensure alignment with security practices, and meet market needs

• Ensuring all products comply with regulations, especially in data privacy and security. Focusing on secure architecture and fraud prevention.
  Guiding teams on technical challenges related to charging, billing, API Gateway, and security. Ensuring secure development practices

• Monitoring product performance and optimizing systems for reliability, security, and efficiency.

• Leading project planning, execution, and delivery. Tracking milestones, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope

• Understanding of financial systems, monetization strategies, and cost optimization in relation to product development and management

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or security/API management are a plus

• Experience in product management in CPaaS or telecom, with a focus on charging, billing, API Gateway, or fraud detection. Project management experience is also preferred

• Knowledge of software development, cloud technologies, API management, and security protocols. Experience with fraud detection and permission management is a plus

• Business Acumen & Finance Knowledge: Strong ability to make data-driven decisions, align product strategy with business goals, and understand financial implications in product development and monetization strategies

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment across all departments

• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex product or security challenges

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and open to learning new technologies, especially in security and infrastructure.
