Role Description

We are seeking a mission driven leader to serve as our Quality and Compliance Manager. Our Quality and Compliance Manager will report dually to our VP Clinical Operations and General Counsel and will help implement and maintain the programs and processes we need to manage clinical quality and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations as we scale. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and overall service quality.
As a Quality Management Coordinator, you will:
- Track and analyze key quality performance indicators
- Review quality data for completeness and accuracy and follow-up with teams, as needed to ensure accurate reporting of clinical KPIs
- Analyze data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
- Present data to cross functional leadership centrally and in each site and ensure alignment
- Manage cross functional team against CQI plan
- Support Chief Clinical Officer; Chief Operating Officer + Chief Product Officer to codify and dimensionalize identified opportunities
- Develop, research, and implement quality program strategies and update policies and procedures, as needed, to meet organizational standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure strong execution on key quality initiatives
- Manage and ensure strong follow-up as needed on any reported events
- Monitor event reports, as submitted
- Coordinate cross functional leader team to ensure rapid response to reported events; coordinate case follow-up and mitigation, including providing notice to external parties, where applicable
- Ensure closed loop communication
- Manage Diana Health’s Compliance Program
- Serve as a point person for the organization, with oversight from Diana Health’s General Counsel, to ensure that the organization is proactively managing against its various regulatory requirements
- Ensure consistent and effective cross functional management of key compliance processes
- Track progress on improvement initiatives and updates policies/ protocols, as needed
- Serve as a resource for the organization when they have compliance questions
- Work with General Counsel and external auditor to identify any improvement initiatives needed as we build the compliance program, including:
- Supporting the delivery of targeted compliance training and communications for users
- Develop or amend new policies or processes
What’s Required:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills - experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- with an ability to use data to identify trends and areas of opportunity and to build actionable plans to address challenges
- Strong communications skills- experience preparing and delivering information to multiple audiences
- Strong mission orientation with to quality and an understanding that it is nailing the details that enables us to deliver with consistency
- Understanding of maternal and neonatal outcome indicators and standards is optimal
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Quality Management or Nursing
- 5+ years experience in a healthcare services setting
- Experience in a general management
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA; OSHA; CLIA)
- Experience working within women’s health with a focus on clinical quality improvement, a plus.
