We are looking for a Senior Security Monitoring Engineer for one of the largest technology service providers in the world to work for public sector in Kuwait.
Senior Security Monitoring Specialist (Permanent)
The positions have a HEAVY EMPHASIS ON QRADAR ARCHITECTURE and ADMINISTRATION.
The position is Shift based, and candidates would be expected to be on call due to the highly technical and critical systems in place. This includes working during weekends.
Responsibilities:

Lead the monitoring of security systems .

Guide and manage team operations in incident response and security assessments.

Conduct advanced reviews of configurations and rule bases.

Oversee security product implementations, upgrades, and compliance checks.

Analyze security incidents and devise strategic mitigation measures.
Experience:
-
At least 9 years in IT and a minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity, preferably in financial institutions.

Advanced expertise in monitoring and administering IBM Qradar.
Skills:
-
Advanced knowledge and experience in IBM Qradar SIEM.

Expertise in handling a wide range of security products and solutions.

Leadership in incident management, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments.

In-depth understanding of routing and switching with Solaris containers and VMware infrastructure.

Proficiency in network traffic analysis and mitigation.
Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Electronics, or related fields.

Advanced Information Security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP).

Specialized training and certifications in IBM Qradar.
Language Proficiency:

Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Arabic proficiency preferred.
