Job Description
The Role
We seek an innovative AI/ML engineer to develop foundation models for analyzing high-dimensional genomic data. You will design, optimize, and deploy large language models to extract insights from large datasets uniquely generated by our high throughput platform. No biology/genomics background is required. But you should be excited to reveal human biology at unprecedented resolution using AI.
What you will be working on
- Develop and optimize AI/ML models for analyzing high-dimensional biological datasets.
- Design training data generation and simulation algorithms to enhance measured datasets.
- Train, validate, and fine-tune models for real-world applications.
- Implement and manage end-to-end machine learning pipelines.
- Address scalability, model efficiency, and computational challenges.
- Innovate AI architectures to improve accuracy and interpretability.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians, data scientists, and engineers.
- Stay at the cutting edge of AI/ML advancements.
What you should know or have
- PhD, MS, or BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of large language models and deep learning.
- Creative problem-solving and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
