We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will play a key part in shaping and developing the financial foundation of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and supporting critical business decisions. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, offering insights and data-driven recommendations that guide strategic choices.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of financial processes, and thinking critically to provide valuable financial insights. You should possess the ability to execute tasks while also stepping back and providing strategic thinking to help drive the company forward. This role blends high-level thinking and detailed execution, with an emphasis on building and enhancing our finance function from the ground up.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Own and drive the company's annual budget process and ongoing forecasting activities, working collaboratively with department leaders to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • KPI Reporting & Metrics Development: Design, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, customer acquisition costs, and other growth-oriented financial metrics.
  • Data Analysis & Decision Support: Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and operational data to support decision-making across the organization. Develop actionable insights from financial data to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work with different leaders across departments to understand their financial needs, provide financial analysis, and offer recommendations that support company-wide goals.
  • Process Building & Improvement: Contribute to building and refining financial processes, systems, and reporting functions within a growing organization with minimal existing infrastructure.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Projects: Lead and support various ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting needs, providing high-quality insights to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally with a background in SaaS or similar fast-growing environments.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and building financial models.
  • Experience working with SaaS-specific financial metrics such as ARR, churn, LTV, CAC, etc.
  • Private equity or growth-stage company experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data and analysis in a clear and impactful way to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable building processes and systems in an evolving environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
