About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Business Development to lead partnership strategy, drive market adoption, and establish key collaborations with technology providers, enterprise clients, and ecosystem partners. This is a unique opportunity to shape the go-to-market strategy, drive partner engagement, and position OpenInfer as a key player in the AI inference landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnership & Market Expansion
    • Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with AI model developers, cloud providers, hardware vendors, and enterprise clients.
    • Define partnership roadmaps, build joint go-to-market strategies, and execute co-development initiatives.
    • Establish OpenInfer’s presence in the AI ecosystem through alliances with silicon partners (AMD, Intel, Nvidia), AI model providers (Hugging Face, Mistral), and application platforms (Adobe, Figma, Miro, Netflix, etc.).
    • Explore and structure OEM, licensing, and revenue-sharing models that drive long-term growth.
  • Sales & Business Growth
    • Own the business development pipeline, focusing on enterprise AI adoption, embedded AI solutions, and strategic accounts.
    • Lead partner engagement, onboarding, and enablement, ensuring seamless integration of OpenInfer’s technology into partner ecosystems.
    • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies, expanding OpenInfer’s reach across industry verticals (enterprise AI, edge computing, consumer AI applications).
    • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to align business objectives with technical roadmaps and customer needs.
  • Go-To-Market Leadership
    • Define market positioning and lead partner marketing initiatives with key stakeholders.
    • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape OpenInfer’s business strategy and revenue models.
    • Develop thought leadership content, attend industry events, and establish OpenInfer as a leader in AI inference.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales (startup experience preferred).
  • Proven success in building and scaling partnerships in AI, cloud, or hardware/software industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience structuring enterprise deals, licensing agreements, and co-development partnerships.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value propositions.
  • AI, ML, or edge computing knowledge is a plus but not required.
