Summary

The Product Specialist is not assigned to a particular squad. He/she works with different teams to design and deliver 'cross-squad" features. Will interact with the GPM and Product managers internationally.

What you'll do

Develop and implement our product strategy, working on initiatives that require deep knowledge of the US Financial Services Industry to drive our growth in this country. As a Product Specialist, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, sales, and compliance, to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of the US financial ecosystem.

Main responsibilities

  • Leverage his/her expertise in US payment market on Credit Card  issuing / Payments 
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory framework changes and competitive landscape to identify and suggest improvements or new positioning of our products in the US.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements. Assist in product demonstrations, presentations, and RFP responses during pre-sales engagements. 
  • Provide technical and business expertise to address customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Design and monitor the development of "cross squad" offerings, ensuring these product innovations' proper scope and purpose.
  • Research and evaluate third-party solutions that can complement Pismo's platform.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as a Product Specialist / Product Manager
  • Minimum 5 years working with card issuing products in a related market Card processing market, with relevant experience in card functions and knowledge of US payment systems, clearings, and financial industry regulations
  • Relevant experience in card issuing functions (processor, issuer, BPO, Credit Origination)
  • Knowledge of US payment systems, clearings, and financial industry regulations
  • Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of US customers.
  • Fluent in Spanish
