About the Role:

As a C4B Business Development Manager, you will help drive brand-facing demand efforts, alternative demand initiatives, partner identification, and general internal/external execution. Business customers utilize Cameo products in a variety of ways: sales enablement, marketing content, spicing up virtual events, recruiting, employee recognition, and more. Your extensive experience in sales, partnerships, and the industry generally will lead you to be a role model and inspiring leader on the Cameo for Business team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic and targeted outreach to business clients through various channels, including networking, email, phone calls, and Linkedin.
  • Identify alternative demand levers/partnerships beyond brand direct efforts.
  • Help qualify high intent and quality client and partner prospects through industry research and strategic conversations to understand business objectives and potential mutual value propositions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the B2B marketing industry and with target partners and clients.
  • Research industry trends and key participants to help develop and support C4B strategies that can drive demand.
  • Work closely with internal cross functional teams to drive C4B initiatives, execute partnerships, ensure business client success, and stay informed about platform updates and new features.
  • Provide valuable insights from partner and customer interactions to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our products and services.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 6+ years strategic sales and/or business development experience, including negotiating and executing business agreements.  
  • Experience and relationships at core social media platforms, tech-focused influencer platforms, or within the content/performance marketing industry generally strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and building execution processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for driving growth, execution, and building valuable relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with technology and experience working with engineering and technical leaders.
  • Required to work out of our Downtown Chicago office 4 days per week

The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance.  Cameo determines salary ranges by role and level with ranges for US roles typically based on our home market of Chicago. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within that range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training. Posted salary ranges reflect base salary only, exclusive of equity, commissions, and other compensation and benefits.
