Job Description Summary
Reporting to the FP&A Manager of the Vacation Division, the Senior FP&A Analyst will provide support in all aspects of the FP&A function, including preparation of budgets, forecast models, and performance monitoring for the 10 product lines in the Division. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the development of financial models and forecasts specific to the Vacation Software industry and will support the FP&A Manager in the financial management of the Division.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Play a key role in completion of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial models and forecasts of key revenue and expense items.
- Partner with the FP&A Manager of the division to perform ad hoc analysis and special projects pertaining to the strategy and financial objectives of the division.
- Analyze macroeconomic trends and leading indicators in the travel industry to understand their impact on the business’ financial objectives.
- Complete budget versus actual variance analysis, interpreting results and alerting leadership to key risks or opportunities.
- Assist in the development of financial summaries and presentations provided to executive leadership on financial results.
- Act as a liaison between corporate and divisional leadership on key business processes and systems.
