What You’ll Be Doing
- Primarily support the strategy and execution of operational projects within Marketo
- Implement and manage integrations / webhooks between Marketo & Salesforce
- Support execution related to lead scoring, lifecycle management and disqualification & rejection processes
- Support execution related to email nurtures and nurture reporting
- Ensure data quality and cleanliness within Marketo and Salesforce to support accurate reporting and analysis
- Regularly track and analyze key performance indicators related to marketing technology operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement to stakeholders
- Regularly collaborate and build strong relationships with marketing, sales, revenue and customer success stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing technology initiatives with other departments' objectives and processes
- Demonstrate proactive communication on performance: status, issues, ideas for mitigation and ideas for improving performance
- Translate business needs into marketing solutions that make the best use of our current tools, and identify areas for potential different tools
- Offer ongoing training and support to internal users on how to effectively utilize marketing automation tools and platforms for optimal results
- Provide important high-level updates to marketing and sales teams on operational updates to illustrate positive business changes and associated impacts
- Quickly identify and troubleshoot technical issues within marketing automation tools, collaborating with IT or Sales Operations as needed to resolve them efficiently
- Stay informed about the latest updates and best practices in marketing technology, and proactively recommend new strategies or features to enhance operations
- Provide input on technology-related strategies, initiatives, and roadmaps to align with overall organizational goals
- Occasional support with task execution such as list imports and one-off email builds (10%)
What You’ll Need
- Current Marketo certification(s)
- Experience working on a marketing operations team
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years using Marketo supporting execution of projects such as operational architecture campaigns, email nurture logic and UTM processing
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and sales enablement tools (ideally Outreach or HubSpot Sales Hub) You understand how they operate together.
- Strong critical thinking, data analysis, and decision-making skills
- Strategic and technical experience with lead scoring and lifecycle management
- Comfortable communicating how to best utilize marketing automation capabilities
- Curiosity, enthusiasm, and strong willingness to learn
Bonus Points
- Salesforce certification(s)
- Experience using WordPress
- Experience using ZoomInfo / RingLead
- Experience using Pendo
