About the role:

As Pelago continues to grow at a rapid pace, the People team operates as a foundational resource for all candidates and employees. We are looking for a driven, creative, and passionate Clinical Recruiter to partner closely with hiring managers to source and recruit for key member-facing roles such as counselors, coaches, practitioners, and member operations. Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Clinical Hiring Managers across the organization to hire top talent in all roles that work directly with our members
  • Leverage sourcing strategies to drive strong talent pipelines and nurture prospective candidate relationships to develop diverse, quality, nationwide talent pools
  • Own end-to-end recruitment life cycle from sourcing, screening, and scheduling to closing candidates
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience and help your hiring managers to do the same
  • Use data to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies in your recruiting process
  • Contribute to process improvement to build and maintain a world-class talent function
  • Build strong hiring manager relationships through frequent, transparent, high touch communication
  • Ensure all interview processes and practices are equitable and inclusive
  • Utilize our ATS and participate in efficiency and automation where possible
  • Engage with talent communities through social media, promoting Pelago’s employee value proposition and important mission
  • Develop and operate with a consultative mindset when supporting internal partners

  • Participate and potentially lead in talent-related projects

The background we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of a successful track record of hiring top clinical talent in high-performing and fast growth environments
  • Experience as a full cycle recruiter owning the end-to-end clinical hiring process, navigating the ins and outs of complex state-by-state regulations
  • Ability to think outside of the box and be creative when it comes to sourcing outstanding talent
  • Demonstrated tenacity and resilience in challenging and ambiguous situations with the ability to balance priorities as needs evolve
  • Clear, effective communication which facilitates stellar collaboration across a variety of stakeholders (candidates, hiring managers, peers)
  • Independent ability to solve problems in a rapidly scaling organization and strong operational skills with a focus on contributing to improvement and efficiency
  • Ability to support data-driven decision making with an emphasis on always improving
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ideally Greenhouse) and other recruiting tools
