As the Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for consistently delivering high-quality releases for eClinical Solutions’ elluminate® platform. You will be responsible for transforming the current QA environment focusing on automation. You will be comfortable working closely with developers, product managers, and other departments across the organization.

Your day to day:  

• Establish test strategy, test suites, test cases and architecture for QA testing with a focus on automation 
• Define testing best practices and provide guidance for development teams 
• Create and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency 
• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for smoke, functional, integration, regression, and system testing 
• Develop scalable automation solution test infrastructure 

• Define, execute, and maintain processes, procedures, and tools to test the elluminate® product 
• Collaborate across teams within eClinical Solutions to enhance total product quality

Qualifications:   

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer, QA Engineer, or SDET   
• 3-5 years of experience designing, implementing, and running automation test cases  
• Demonstrated experience working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology   

• Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies with focus on Regression Best Practices  
• Proven ability to perform and automate functional and UI testing 
• Passionate about software quality with experience advocating for software development process changes  
• Strong skills and proven proficiency with Selenium, C#/Java, and other relevant techniques/tools  
• Experience with building automation tests for web-based applications and APIs   

• Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with diverse teams and multi-task on multiple products   
• Knowledgeable in: SQL, Angular, Protractor, Jasmine, JEST, JavaScript, Selenium, NodeJS, NPM, HTML, CSS, Visual studio, Git, Bitbucket, and Atlassian product suite   
• .NET, C#, and Spec Flow knowledge is desirable  
• Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings   
• Excellent collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
