What you’ll do: 

  • Learn different aspects of the sales cycle and different approaches to sales progression 
  • Help create, identify, and track sales leads 
  • Generate sales reporting; evaluate sales campaigns; and assist with sales forecasting, strategies, and tactics 
  • Enter and update client/prospect information in Salesforce  
  • Outbound sales communications via email and LinkedIn, phone calls, and online presentations 
  • Meet regularly with your 1-1 Senior SDR mentor 
  • Develop an understanding of Tanium’s products, services, and competitive landscape 
  • Supported by our team, you’ll be ramped up to your own booking meetings and generating potential revenue for Tanium 
  • Travel as needed to the local sales market (cost covered by Tanium) 

We’re looking for someone who is: 

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future 
  • Available to work full-time in-person in Addison, TX from June 12, 2023 to August 18, 2023  
  • Graduation date Spring 2024 or Fall 2023 
  • A currently enrolled undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.5 
  • Positive, professional presence with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be successful in sales 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and in a self-directed manner 
  • Ability to be flexible and reprioritize on the go 

All our interns are paid an hourly wage to work full-time as well as a housing stipend for the duration of our internship.
