Job Description

AirWalk Communications, Inc. is a developer of IP CDMA Radio Access Network (IP-RAN) products that deliver 3G and 4G voice and data platforms with migration to LTE. AirWalk's products are modular, stackable and increase coverage and capacity. AirWalk delivered the industry's first base station and base station controller in a single, inexpensive, compact platform. The company's radio products operate on the global CDMA licensed frequencies and offer operators new sources of revenue.
POSITION PURPOSE
AirWalk is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support direct sales of AirWalk’s product portfolio to potential and existing customers within the assigned territory. Reporting directly to the VP Sales, this person will be responsible for supporting opportunities both pre-sales and post-sales with technical expertise. This includes but is not limited to ability to explain the technology and the value proposition enabled by the technology, ability to structure and support trial plans, ability to lead discussions about integration of this product into an existing network and deployment, ability to manage customer interactions.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

May perform some or all the functions in the absence of regular appointed company personnel.
• Provide technical support opportunities on an as needed basis.
• Maintain a personal level of expertise on AirWalk offerings, competitive solutions and the state of the industry for “small cell” solutions.
• Act as team lead for engaging relevant AirWalk resources in support of customer opportunities both pre- and post-sales.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Goal oriented self starter (experience in start-up environment preferred).
• Excellent listening skills. Must have the ability to listen, interpret and act accordingly.
• Ability to generate action plan for addressing technical concerns.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Technical expertise in RF with particular focus on CDMA and OFDMA (LTE). IP networking expertise a plus.
• Experience with direct sales of wireless infrastructure products to service providers (5 years minimum, 7+ years preferred). Experience with data networking a plus.
• International sales experience.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Able to travel and relocate for short periods (up to two weeks) on customer premises
• Fluency in Spanish a plus.
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel.
