Job Description

Sisu is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our growing go-to-market team. In this role, you’ll work directly with product, marketing, and the executive team to source, qualify, and close new business. You’ll also own upsells and expansions with our large enterprise clients.
 
You’ll have the opportunity to define and build what sales means at Sisu, instilling our values and serving as the voice of the customer from the very start of their relationship with us. Creative, energetic, and self-driven, you understand the customer and their use cases and know how to translate customer needs into a value-driven proposal. You’re an expert at balancing relationships and a process-driven sale in a complex market, and you bring a data-savvy approach to your profession. 

What you'll accomplish

    • Achieve sales quota for assigned territory and/or accounts
    • Maintain appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management
    • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to discovery, proposal and close
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop your territory
    • Cultivate and foster customer relationships, ultimately driving long-term account growth 
    • Prioritize opportunities and coordinate resources across the Sisu team to provide the best possible customer experience and customer outcomes
    • Provide feedback (customer/prospect needs, industry trends, market perceptions, competitive intelligence, etc.) to company management, Marketing and Product Management teams

What you'll need to be successful:

    • 5-10+ years of full cycle sales experience selling software or cloud based applications to both the mid-market & enterprise segments; bachelor’s degree
    • Prior role emphasis on databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, data analytics – or other similarly technical sales motion – is desired
    • Proven experience driving net new logos in greenfield territories
    • A multi-year track record of quota overachievement
    • Extensive experience in prospecting, both self-driven and in partnership with sales development teams
    • Skilled in relationship development, pricing, delivery, negotiations, and closing
    • Be familiar with solution-based approach to selling, have experience managing a complex sales process and possess excellent presentation and listening skills, organization and contact management capabilities
    • A clinical execution mindset with rigorous experience in sales methodologies such as MEDDIC is a plus
    • A data-driven approach to sales, territory planning, and account management
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rolling up your sleeves
    • Cross-functional team player, experience collaborating with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success teams
