Your role

 

We believe the only way to succeed and make BOOM one of the best startups in the world is by having exceptionally talented and committed people in our team. This is why your role as People Experience & Administration Specialist will be crucial for our success. 

You will support the People & Culture team in all payroll, administration and office management activities, making BOOM a great place to work.

 

As People Experience & Administration Specialist, here's what you'll do:

 

  • Prepare and amend where necessary Personnel documents
  • Organize and maintain Personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Liaise with external payroll provider by providing relevant employees information, in order to always have a correct and timely payroll cycle and labor cost calculation
  • Thoroughly check payslips and labor cost calculation provided by the external payroll provider
  • Create regular reports and presentations on People metrics
  • Answer employees queries about any People admin topic (pay slips, individual contracts, collective agreement)
  • Review and renew company policies for legal compliance with local regulations
  • Support the People & Culture team with the transition to a new payroll provider and implementation of a new HRIS
  • Liaise with Health & Safety consultants to guarantee occupational Health & Safety standards in compliance with local regulation
  • Oversee general office operations: greeting visitors at our office reception, purchasing office supplies and maintaining proper stock levels, being the point person for maintenance, mailing, bills and errands
  • Manage relationships with Office vendors, service providers and landlord
  • Support Top Management with coordinating domestic and international business trips
  • Organize remote or in-person team building activities
  • Support People & Culture team with Internal Communication
  • Support People & Culture team with the implementation of new projects

Our ideal candidate has:

 

  • Between 1 - 4 years experience in HR Administration & Payroll, preferably in a Payroll Consultancy firm
  • HR Labor Cost planning & Controlling experience
  • Experience with Commercio Italian Collective Agreement
  • Fluency with spoken and written English is mandatory
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • HRIS knowledge is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to communicate effectively and build trusting relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Great organizational skills and attention to details
  • Resilience and resourcefulness with a 'can do' attitude
  • High standards of integrity and ethics
  • Humility and ability to listen and learn from others
