We’re seeking a People Operations Manager to join the People Team at Thrive Global.  You'll manage our full employee life-cycle from onboarding to internal operations to employee experience.  We’re looking for a self-motivated, charismatic, organizational powerhouse who can collaborate, ideate, and execute to help us build a thriving company culture and employee experience.

How You'll Contribute:

    • Lead critical internal people experiences, such as our weekly team meetings, employee celebrations and events, and key cultural initiatives
    • Manage and maintain all employee logistics from onboarding to offboarding (offer letters, background verifications, new hire paperwork, I-9 employment verifications, resignations)
    • Run (and continuously improve) our new hire onboarding process, including weekly new hire training sessions
    • Oversee office operations across our NY and SF offices, partnering with Legal and Finance as we return to work in Q3 2021
    • Provide day-to-day operational support to employees and managers on HR questions and issues such as payroll, benefits, logistics etc.
    • Assist with ongoing people programs such as performance reviews, pulse surveys, and learning & development activities
    • Oversee HR compliance, both internally & with external vendors
    • Provide overall administrative support to the People Team
    • Stay on top of trends and bring your own creativity and ideas to help us build and maintain a truly thriving company culture

Skills & Experience

    • ­2-5 years of experience in HR or People Operations, ideally within a fast-growing start-up
    • Comfort with high ambiguity and ability to adapt to frequent change and growth
    • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven success in helping an organization scale rapidly
    • Experience in Excel, Google products, Slack, and Confluence (experience with Zenefits/Lever is a plus)
