Responsibilities:

  • Lead the conceptualization, definition and end-to-design for SoFi’s Relay product and drive the creation and evolution of the experience across multiple platforms.
  • Drive alignment by working collaboratively with product, engineering, marketing, sales and business stakeholders to effectively communicate the value of user-centric design
  • Understand the users deeply across different segments through user research and lead product design to drive measurable outcomes
  • Challenge previously-established thinking patterns, and discover new ways of problem solving all while being a clear and effective communicator
  • Collaborate with cross functional design teams across SoFi products
  • Adhere to the design system and contribute to, when needed. 

Qualification and Experience:

  • 5+ yrs experience of experience working in product design/UX roles
  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and information architecture across iOS, Android and responsive web
  • Experience designing for data visualization 
  • Strong expertise in design tools (need to understand Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Principle, etc)
  • Time management, planning and collaboration skills 
  • Understanding of how to use data analytics, user testing, and research to inform and validate design decisions and focus on constant improvement
  • Ability to effectively communicate design solutions to engineering, product, marketing, business, and executive leadership
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira and Confluence
  • A portfolio URL or PDF to submit with application with examples of mobile and responsive web product design
