Job Overview

As Senior Product Manager at AvidXchange you will deliver products that solve customer problems. In this role, you will develop an international B2B payment strategy, including the selection and management of vendor for our Accounts Payable product offerings. Must have strong product management background with a high-level understanding of payment digital and technology platforms to establish an integration plan.

 

What you will get to work on:

 

The Senior Product Manager for AvidPay product domain will lead the strategy and product management of Avid’s Cross Border payment offering. This is a unique opportunity to own and drive the end-to-end product strategy and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Technology, and Customer Service. Must have previous experience with international payments and foreign exchange. Looking for a leader that can take initiate, ideate, and drive progress.

 

  • Modernization of the product to provide a simple, intuitive and competitive product design and user experience
  • Developing, tracking, and prioritizing features and new enhancements, goals, KPIs, and milestones and work cross-functionally to execute on your roadmap.
  • Introduction of digital enablement and self-service into the product
  • Driving strategy for mobile offering

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Establish the product strategy for your product area through creating P&L models, business plan, and roadmaps,
  • Accountable for the full customer end-to-end experience and commercial success of your product
  • Participate in market research, facilitate workshops, and perform customer visits to know and passionately advocate for your customers daily
  • Gather and generate product insights through data analysis of application, transactional, and other data sources
  • Responsible for identifying and solving a market problem through ideation, launch, and monitoring
  • Evolve a product idea through a design-first thought process
  • Collaborate with the UX/Design team to create wireframes and mockups to visually demonstrate the imagined user experience
  • Partner with product manager(s) to participate in sprint reviews and acceptance
  • Drive a singular product vision amongst engineering, marketing, product marketing, operational, and sales teams to ensure success of product go-to-market strategies and launch
  • Communicates and presents to large groups, executive suite, and conferences on product roadmap, initiatives, etc.
  • Build alignment between technology leadership, product management, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support (at all levels of the company) on the vision and roadmap of your product
  • Constantly learning and injecting Product Management industry best practices into AvidXchange’s processes
  • Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives associated to your strategic product roadmap

 

 

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

 

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or technical product management roles
  • Experience is required within the Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analyst
  • Azure DevOps (TFS), Jira, Rally, or similar planning & development tool
  • Experience and examples of delivering web and customer service driven products that improve the customer experience
  • Well versed in user-centered design
  • Worked within Agile development methodologies
  • Leading or mentoring a team of product managers and product owners
  • Successfully lead multiple concurrent product initiatives

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

 

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable, or finance experience preferred
  • B2B and/or FinTech experience
  • Wireframing, prototyping, and user testing experience
