About Boost

Boost makes it simple for companies in any category – from leading technology brands to insurtech startups – to offer white-labeled digital insurance solutions to their customers.

Job Description

The Digital Insurance Platform

Boost unlocks the insurance vertical by powering white-labeled programs for innovators across all industries. Our platform helps leading technology companies and high-growth startups offer digital insurance products to their customers. Building on Boost enables companies across all segments to offer insurance products through a fully embedded experience within their own front-end environments. Boost's infrastructure-as-a-service platform significantly reduces the cost of building and managing an insurance business by packaging the necessary operational, compliance, and capital components and making them accessible through a simple API integration. That means they can focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, product innovation, and growth.

Boost’s infrastructure-as-a-service product abstracts and simplifies an old school, complicated industry – and provides access through a cutting-edge API platform. We give our customers everything they need to quickly get to market with their own insurance products and programs which provide an important revenue opportunity. Technically, we’re a licensed managing general agency -- we’re just redefining what that means.

Our company is running fast and making waves, backed by an awesome group of investors including Greycroft, Coatue, and Norwest Venture Partners. We’re having a ton of fun, growing like crazy, and looking for forward thinking folks to join our team.

The Job

Are you ready to  join an inspired  team that‘s reinventing a sleepy industry? We’re in hyper growth mode and looking for an experienced marketing leader to develop and execute our marketing strategy from the ground up. You will be marketing employee #1 which means you’ll be empowered to shape product marketing and go-to-market efforts from end to end. We want to invest in marketing as a critical growth driver so this is an opportunity to build the function from start to scale. You will partner closely with our CEO and CRO and have regular collaboration with our executive team.

To thrive in this role, you will have a passion for not only marketing, but also for building a high growth, enduring brand and  business. We need an inventive, fast-moving, and data-driven leader with a voice that’s consistent with our brand to get the word out about our platform and attract other cutting edge companies as our B2B customers. You are someone who enjoys a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly creative environment in which you can have a big impact.

The most important dimensions for success in this role are:

Growth and revenue mindset: You see your role as driving growth and impacting revenue. You have experience managing performance marketing strategies and tactics and can allocate the appropriate budget to drive customer acquisition while thoughtfully managing acquisition costs. You’ve established a B2B demand generation discipline in your prior roles, using internal and external resources.

Brand, positioning, and messaging: You enjoy immersing yourself in customers and the market. You can translate our vision and product offering into a compelling brand story and develop content assets that effectively resonate with all user segments. You create our company’s core positioning and messaging that differentiates us from others, explains and validates our category and offering, communicates our value to drive new acquisition, and retention.

Product go-to-market: You lead our company’s efforts in taking new products to market with a range of assets for both sales and digital channels, and you consistently communicate product updates to engage and help retain our existing customers. You collaborate with our CRO on ensuring we understand the voice and needs of our prospects and customers and account for them in our product roadmap.

Team leadership and management: You love to lead, coach, and mentor.  You have a track record of attracting and retaining high caliber talent, especially for a business at our stage and maturity. You know how to appropriately challenge your team to excel, and you bring an approach that fosters the ability to test, learn, and grow. Developing others is a passion.
