Job Description

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
ZeroFOX seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day administrative, coordinative, and clerical processes for our HR Department in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing general transactional HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. (S)he will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. The highest degrees of professionalism, ability to handle confidential information, and work ethic are required. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with broad knowledge of and / or hands-on experience working in Human Resources.
 
Reporting to a Human Resources Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to gain broad HR experience while contributing to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all transactional / operational facets of Human Resources for our Bangalore office
    • Respond to various requests from management and staff in a professional, client-focused and timely manner
    • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including pre-onboarding, activities and conduct new hire orientation
    • Initiate background checks
    • Provide support, education, guidance, reference materials and coaching to managers and employees about matters relating to HR
    • Assist with full lifecycle recruiting as needed
    • Prepare and send offer letters and Employment Agreements
    • Facilitate performance management and reviews
    • Address employee discipline and grievances. Handle employee & department disputes; provide counseling as required
    • Spearhead all aspects of benefits and Provident Fund administration
    • Work closely with Finance to report payroll changes and submit payroll
    • Maintain employee records and files
    • Plan and host employee engagement activities
    • Communicate, enforce and educate employees about HR policies and procedures. Help develop, update and roll out policies and procedures as needed
    • Review, update and maintain proper filing of HR documents
    • Keep track of and audit employee leaves, time off, attendance, and holiday. Perform leave administration as needed
    • Measure, monitor and increase employee engagement and satisfaction
    • Process employee changes and offboarding
    • Create custom reports as necessary 
    • Perform other related duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

    • Previous experience performing the duties above, typically obtained in 1+ years 
    • Proven track record of executing and thriving while working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to drive results through influence
    • Fundamental resourcefulness, problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to propose and implement solutions when encountering novel and complex circumstances
    • Basic mathematical computation
    • Excellent interpersonal communication; people-first and client-focused orientation
    • Unquestionable integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Basic proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to navigate and manage ambiguity
    • Written and spoken fluency in the English language
    • Ability to regularly report to our office location in Bangalore
    • Ability to occasional work nights and weekends as the job prescribes
    • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
    • Knowledge of human resources processes 

Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in a startup or high growth environment
    • Experience working within HR software and other payroll and benefits-related platforms
    • Previous experience working at a Cyber Security, SaaS, or Technology company
    • Previous experience working at a multinational company
