We are looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing that will be instrumental in the continued growth of our current and future product offerings here at Lacework.

You will focus, define and drive the GTM strategy for our Cloud Security products and solutions. This position is responsible for all aspects of product marketing and overall GTM efforts, including market segmentation, messaging and positioning, competitive differentiation, content creation, field enablement, and analyst relations. You will work closely with Lacework product managers, engineering, sales and the entire marketing function to align and communicate Lacework’s vision with the market, users, prospects, customers, and partners

You will:

  • Build and scale a world-class product marketing team with members who are experts in the customer segments, solutions and packaging/content to the market
  • Clearly articulate Lacework’s position and differentiation vs similar offerings. Be the expert on competitive capabilities
  • Lead overall product and solutions messaging and positioning, product launch management, pricing, GTM strategy and customer insights.
  • Engage industry analysts to position Lacework well in research, analyst recommendations, category creation and product positioning reports
  • Partner with sales to develop sales plays and GTM programs that help drive the pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts.
  • Drive ongoing analysis of the market, customers, and products, including win-loss, message testing, and product usage and adoption analysis.

Required Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience leading product and/or marketing teams, with experience in defining and driving new offerings, features, benefits and ideas to market.
  • Broad knowledge of Cloud Security / SaaS, and the enterprise infrastructure market landscape
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, combined with diplomacy and tact, with the strength of conviction to sell concepts and ensure strategic alignment across our organization
  • Storytelling - Have the ability to break down complex concepts into simple and clear terms;
  • Be our voice - Delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings as well as with internal teams and leadership.
  • Previous success in a fast paced startup environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is desirable.
