Job Description

ZEFR is growing!   We are hiring an Account Services Manager to lead a team of Account Managers! This person will be responsible for leading & coaching a team, while also helping to grow & support day-to-day business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media and curiosity about the next wave of digital video content.

Here’s what you’ll get to do:

  • Manage a team of Account Managers who are part of a larger sales organization
  • Train incoming Account Managers and oversee campaigns, ensuring quality control and performance
  • Collaborate with sales team on all facets of client relations from RFP stage to campaign completion, including but not limited to proposal submissions, overseeing campaign implementation with Ad Operations, campaign analysis/reporting, billing and reconciliation and related day-to-day account management duties
  • Manage internal & external questions, issues, and feedback, sharing with exec team as needed
  • Manage the flow of insertion orders, creative tags, and pixel requests
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Ad Operations, Research, and Finance teams to ensure successful client on-boarding, continued client success, and annual contract renewal
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, agencies and advertisers to ensure long-term success; be able to identify opportunities to expand ZEFR’s level of service with each client, and work with the sales team to follow through on those opportunities
  • Share expertise and advise internal teams & clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results
  • Work with Sales and Ad Operations to ensure client satisfaction
  • Participate in industry events and conferences

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience managing a small to medium-sized team
  • A positive outlook, a driven and detail-oriented nature, and the drive to excel and thrive in an exciting, fast-paced environment 
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to foster productive relationships within a cross-functional global team 
  • 3+ years of account management experience in online media agency or ad sales organization, or related
  • Strong analytic skills, including high level of comfort with Excel
  • Keynote experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to work independently, while being open to direction and guidance
  • Familiarity with ad serving and online ad research tools (ComScore, DCM, Nielsen NetRatings, AdRelevance) a plus
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with internal teams & external clients
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Intelligent, outgoing individual with interpersonal skills and work ethic
