Job Description

Datapeople helps recruiting teams make more thoughtful and accurate decisions about their recruiting process, from the job posts they write to the data they report on. We are looking for a People Analyst to help us develop data products that help recruiting teams understand and benchmark their talent pipelines and processes. You'll work within the Data team, reporting to our Chief Scientist. You will also work with the Product, Marketing and Customer Success teams.

You will:

  • Develop new reports: You'll use appropriate statistical approaches and programmatic tools to ensure that your data analysis is reproducible and scalable.
  • Deliver recruiting data insights. You'll analyze recruiting data to improve the efficiency and fairness of talent acquisition for our customers.
  • Produce data-driven stories: You'll translate large-scale recruiting trends into data stories.

This is a remote job and available to all candidates with work privileges currently residing in the United States.

You have:

  • 3+ years work experience in a HR reporting/analytics role.
  • Professional experience using workforce data to provide decision support in areas such as talent acquisition, talent management or compensation. You'll bring understanding of typical recruiting processes, functions and metrics and how they impact metric and data quality.
  • Data analysis skills: You'll have experience cleaning, manipulating and interpreting large quantities of raw, disorganized data using programmatic tools. You will have experience writing reports to deliver data-driven insights.
  • Statistical analytics skills: You'll be familiar with inferential statistical approaches and when they can (and can't) be used.
