Eargo is searching for a Quality Assurance Technician for a 3-month ongoing contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, your team will manage the product disinfection process and perform device failure analysis for returned goods. Your role will support the QA team with inspection of finished goods sent in from the contract manufacturer and in-house manufacturing line. 


      • Responsible for the inspection and disinfection of returned goods and will conduct inspections for reprocessing.
      • Responsible for verifying incoming product, creating and maintaining inspection records and generating reports.
      • Perform testing and failure analysis of returned devices and resolve issues for complaint units per procedures.
      • Ensure all quality issues are communicated in a timely manner.
      • Assist in initiating and investigating Non-conformance Material Reports.
      • Assist with verification activities as needed under the Engineering team's direction.
      • Due to the hands-on nature of this role, local candidates will be given preference.


    • Must be detail oriented, well organized and have good oral and written communication skills.
    • Must bring analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to proactively execute tasks while following procedures.
    • Must be a go-getter with the ability to accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
    • Proficient in the use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
    • Physical Environment/working conditions - assembly line, able to lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Experience with MS Office, generating Excel spreadsheets, and QA performance reports is ideal.
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical device company.
    • Good understanding of FDA, ISO requirements.
    • 1 year experience in customer quality complaints is a plus.
