This is a great opportunity for a Training Specialist - Robotic Microsurgery to work for an early-stage medical device company developing a breakthrough technology.

For our Commercial Department, we are looking for a:

 

Training Specialist - Robotic Microsurgery

Together with your MMI colleagues and under the direct lead of the Sr. Director Commercial Development Europe, you will:

Your role and main responsibilities:

  • Be our Symani® Training Specialist in the field to provide and support onsite technology integration, education and utilization closely partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Training, Customer Services and Tech Support
  • Ensure that customers have the necessary tools to launch, optimize and sustain a successful microsurgical robotic surgery program
  • Be actively involved in care team training, program support and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop, coordinate and perform state-of-the-art and tailored training curriculums to improve safety, efficiency, independence and reproducibility
  • Build up modular training modules, events and activities point of reference for your colleague’s and care teams for sustainable results and deliver top in class customer experience
  • Drive and increase reliable and targeted utilization of the Symani® System
  • Support and attend OR reference site visits and wet labs
  • Optimize and sustain a successful microsurgical robotic surgery program
  • Prepare and assist regular alignment meetings with hospital operational management, key surgeons & OR theatre teams
  • Support, attend and help organizing national and international conferences, congresses, workshops and exhibitions
  • Document progress, development and performance
  • Be responsible managing administrative tasks and consolidate performance reports

 

What we expect from you? Required knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Life science degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree
  • Minimum of 2 years OR experience and/or Medical Devices
  • Capacity to interact and exchange responsibly with medical key opinion leaders and decision makers
  • Capability to master and lead customer and peer training
  • Responsible, organized, self-disciplined with self-starter mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passioned, winning attitude and convincing personality
  • Italian native speaker and business fluent in English 
  • Willingness to travel in Europe 2-3 days/week desirable
  • First experience in teaching, coaching and educating medical teams
  • Knowledge of Computer Assisted Surgery Technology and/or Robotics
