About You & Vori 

As a QA Specialist, you will play a role in building and automating our testing processes, integrating the most modern testing approaches. You have a passion for ensuring that our products are elegant and are motivated towards building a world-class experience. This would mean that you have a keen interest in all aspects of the functioning of the product, the backend services, the 3rd party integrations, and their seamless operations. Every system is only as strong as the weakest link, so you would expend your efforts in finding those weakest links, surfacing them through adequate documentation in bug reporting systems with detailed logs and screenshots to facilitate easy reproduction and fixing of these anomalies. You understand how big and little improvements propel a business forward - and you help surface these through adequate testing by furthering your understanding of both the domain and the tech stack! 

Responsibilities   

  • Create test documentation (test cases) based on the business requirements given.   
  • Review test cases of other team members and provide retrospective feedback.   
  • Write high-level UAT test scenarios to ensure business flows that pass QA process and meet business needs.   
  • Run manual test cases in our test management system and report the results.   
  • Provide detailed defect reports for existing bugs, such as being able to extract logs and dig into the root cause of the issue, being responsive, and working together with developers to troubleshoot the problem.   
  • Take ownership of automated test strategy and develop automation scripts for E2E testing of the system.  
  • Build and support the Integration tests for GraphQL API.     
  • Be familiar with Git, CircleCI, AWS, Postman, SQL.  
  • Analyze the test results and provide detailed reports, including the logs gathering and performance metrics analysis. 
  • Collaborate with QA team, developers, DevOps, business analysts, project managers, and support team. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in QA and Software Testing   
  • Experience with Mobile (iOS & Android) and Web App testing using developer tools 
  • Experience in the creation of automated test suite for web and mobile platforms  
  • Experience in QA automation (Selenium, JMeter, or other) of Web applications   
  • Experience in Functional, Integration, and Regression testing 
  • Analytical and critical thinking is a must     
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly   
  • Team player who works effectively on agile teams 
  • Experience in performance testing is a plus. 
  • Experience in troubleshooting and working with the support team.
