Job Summary

We are looking for dynamic, empathetic, and action-oriented individuals to join our exciting Marketing team. 

As a Director of Marketing and Communications, your primary responsibility will be to implement the vision and provide leadership to effectively manage Hazel’s communications and marketing efforts.

Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

Primary Job Responsibility 

  • Deliver against brand strategy and vision
  • Excel at both big picture strategy work and execution; all while being a strong process partner across all levels of the organization
  • Set and evaluate goals across channels
  • Drive to engage customers authentically at all stages of the sales and engagement cycles
  • Collaborate across sales and marketing in a thought leadership capacity to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and deepen current client relationships
  • Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that create brand advocates
  • Serve as liaison to all functional internal groups
  • Keep positioning, creative, content and design apparent across the organization
  • Build and lead a small team including designers and content developers
  • Analyze sales numbers, marketing budget, and campaigns effectiveness

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Passion for our mission
  • 8+ years experience in Marketing 
  • High preference for experience in healthcare and/or K12 education
  • Inclusive and transparent leader
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of SEO, marketing operations, and marketing platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead groups and confident POV
  • Strong understanding of marketing systems and impact measurement
  • Able to take projects from start to finish with a strong focus on exceeding objectives
  • Must have the ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them
  • Excellent collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies
  • Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient with analysis and design software
  • Messaging genius with a focus on brevity and impact
