Responsibilities

  • Conduct Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) per industry accepted practices
  • Analyze system and subsystem level requirements, designs, and test protocols to ensure the WCCA aligns with customer expectations
  • Work closely with design engineers to implement changes identified through WCCA
  • Work closely with test team to establish test plans that correlate with WCCA
  • Support DFMEA activities to develop a robust product to meet Functional Safety requirements
  • Design, model, simulate, implement and verify electronic designs

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working experience
  • MUST have design experience in the automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1)
  • Technical knowledge of automotive qualification testing including Environmental, and EMI/EMC verification procedures
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in the areas of design and risk mitigation, test, and project management
  • Experience working with simulation and analysis tools such as: LT Spice, Saber, Mathcad, or Maple
  • Experience with schematic capture tools

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with Altium design tools including schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Experience with Functional Safety requirements having worked in a development environment that implemented ISO26262
  • Experience with lab test equipment including but not limited to receivers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, amplifiers, or antennas
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 Automotive Quality Management standards
  • Design For Six Sigma, DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, or Shanin Red X certified
